Welcome to World InterplayTM, LLC

We help you solve problems.

By "solve," we mean prevent recurrence.  If it's a rate problem, it means reducing the rate to acceptable levels.

After listening carefully to understand your problems, we offer strategies that help you quickly discover effective solutions.  We primarily use:

  • RealityCharting® Software, which is based on the Apollo Root Cause Analysis methodology

  • Lean Six Sigma (or parts of it)

  • ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

  • Systems Safety, Risk Management and other approaches.

We are successful when we teach you what we know and enhance your own abilities to solve problems.

We are the most successful when we help you lead change into your organization so that it integrates these new and powerful problem solving methodologies into their processes and culture.

We frequently train Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001 and similar specialists who want to continually improve their skills.  This is because RealityCharting® represents the "state of the art" RCA methodology.

You can read more about the training and consulting offered by World Interplay in the Services and Products sections of this web site.

This major oil spill due to a leaking oil line in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska in 2006 is an example of an event based problem.  (A combination of events culminated in the oil spill.) In addition to the environmental damage, this was very costly and caused negative publicity.

Our natural tendency is to place blame and to offer "pet" solutions.  This approach is rarely effective in the long run.

Unfortunately, our news media sometimes reinforces the need to place blame, further pressuring organizations to deploy solutions before the problem is fully understood.

Use of Apollo Root Cause Analysis helps organizations to see deeper into the problem, and to expose a level of complexity beyond what they initially perceive.

It is only through understanding the complex interaction of causes and effects that effective solutions can be identified and implemented.

See our examples page to better understand Apollo Root Cause Analysis.
